While Seeking Record, Homecoming Events Exemplified UCM's Longstanding Education for Service Motto

While spectators lined the streets of downtown Warrensburg Saturday morning Oct. 23, to watch the attempt to achieve the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSâ„¢ title for the largest ridden parade of mules, there was plenty more to cheer about as the Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ celebrated its 2021 Homecoming.

Eighteen Candidates Seek Homecoming Royalty Title

The Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ annually conducts the Homecoming Royalty competition to select a King and Queen. Nine King candidates and nine Queen candidates are vying for Homecoming Royalty this weekend, with top contestants to be introduced during half-time of the Mules football game Saturday, Oct. 23. Homecoming Royalty will also participate in the parade that begins at 9 a.m. the same day.

UCM Plans Record-Setting Attempt for Largest Ridden Parade of Mules

In a year that recognizes many rich traditions, the Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ is going the extra mile to celebrate its longtime mascot. When visitors attend the 2021 Homecoming festivities, they can watch UCM attempt to achieve a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDSâ„¢ title for the largest ridden parade of mules. An event that annually brings thousands of people to the campus and Warrensburg communities, the Homecoming parade is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
