Internal Grant Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs & Research Integrity (OSPRI) provides internal funding to support faculty, staff, and students in their academic, creative, and outreach activities.  The Bridge Internal Grants (BIG) program is open to faculty and staff to develop project ideas which lead to external grant funding.  The Graduate Student Scholarly Research Fund awards funding to graduate students engaging in scholarly research projects.  These programs are funded by OSPRI's portion of UCM's indirect cost recovery from external grant projects.

Graduate Student Scholarly Research Fund

Graduate scholarly funding can help a student's research go a long way.  These funds help graduate work and elevate students' work by providing them with access to rare materials and costly equipment. Research grants also provide students the opportunity to build a reputation as committed scholars and forge the connections needed to generate more opportunities once their degrees are completed.

The budget worksheet and submission form for the Graduate Student Scholarly Research Fund can be found on the OSPRI Forms & Resources page.
