Criminal Justice Class

欧美视频 criminal justice students will have additional course options this fall at the Lee鈥檚 Summit campus. The UCM Criminal Justice and Criminology Department is offering three interactive televised courses with students attending courses in Warrensburg or Lee鈥檚 Summit.

Through Zoom Video Conferencing, students will be able to listen to and interact with the instructor as well as students at each location, said Dr. Lynn Urban, UCM chair of the School of Public Services. 鈥淭echnical support is provided at each site, so students do not need any special equipment or technical knowledge to participate in the courses,鈥 she added.

Criminal justice courses offered through video conferencing will be Philosophy and Policy, Legal Aspects and Research Methods. Each class meets from 6 to 8:45 p.m. on one day each week during the fall semester.

All three courses are required for UCM鈥檚 criminal justice master鈥檚 degree program. For more information about these three courses and the criminal justice master鈥檚 degree, visit the UCM webpage. Interested individuals may also contact Dr. Scott Chenault, UCM associate professor and graduate coordinator for criminal justice, at chenault@ucmo.edu.

UCM鈥檚 Criminal Justice Department formed in 1962 and has earned recognition for its quality program and affordability from organizations such as Best Value Schools, Best Colleges and College Choice.

The expanded video conferencing courses are part of UCM鈥檚 commitment to offering flexible, affordable and convenient programs geared to fit the schedule of busy adults.

The 欧美视频 offers face-to-face, online and hybrid (face-to-face combined with online) courses at Warrensburg as well as at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee鈥檚 Summit.
