WARRENSBURG, MO (Aug. 22, 2023) -- 欧美视频 Theatre and Dance
is pleased to announce the availability of 2023-2024 season tickets now through Sept.
28. The theme for this season is 鈥淲ith Love鈥 commemorating UCM Theatre and Dance productions
that celebrate love in its many different forms.
Season tickets include four mainstage productions and the spring dance concert for
one low price of $80 for the general public; $60 for faculty, staff, senior citizens,
and military; and $40 for non-UCM students and children age 5 and up. These prices
include five shows for the price of four. New this year, and through the support of
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Phil Bridgmon, all UCM students will
have free admission to all UCM Theatre and Dance productions upon presenting their
UCM student ID.

Theatre.
The 2023-2024 season opens at the Highlander Theatre with 鈥淓verybody,鈥 directed by
Jenise Cook, and presented Sept. 28-Oct. 1. Filled with humor, wit and profound insights,
this modern play delves into existential questions about life, death and the choices
we make along the way.
Next up is the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic 鈥淐inderella鈥 in the Highlander Theatre,
Nov. 10-12 and Nov. 16-18. This classic family-friendly tale of self-discovery enchants
with its timeless songs, dazzling costumes, and iconic characters. A reminder to us
all that dreams really can come true, 鈥淐inderella鈥 is produced in collaboration with
the Division of Music and is directed by faculty member Dr. Aaron Scully, choreographed
by Megan Helmers, and with musical direction by Daniel Doss.
To open the 鈥淲ith Love鈥 season in spring 2024, UCM Theatre and Dance will offer 鈥淴anadu:
The Musical鈥 by Douglas Carter Beane, and directed and choreographed by Jenise Cook.
In collaboration with the Division of Music, it runs Feb. 22-25. 鈥淴anadu: The Musical鈥
is a mystical mixture of Greek mythology and 鈥80s pop culture in a joyous celebration
of love and inspiration.
The next play, March 28-31, is 鈥淩omeo and Juliet鈥 by William Shakespeare. 鈥淩omeo and
Juliet鈥 will be directed by Dr. Aaron Scully. Watch the beloved poetic language of
Shakespeare come to life with contemporary visuals and breathtaking performances only
fitting for UCM's most prominent stage.
Closing out the 鈥淲ith Love鈥 season April 18-21 is the annual dance concert, this time
in conjunction with the UCM Concert Choir directed by Jackson Thomas, and the UCM
Jazz Ensemble directed by Dr. David Aaberg. Titled 鈥淪acred Concert,鈥 UCM鈥檚 fine performing
artists join forces to present the work of influential jazz pianist and composer,
Duke Ellington, through song and dance.

For those who may not be interested in season tickets but want to see the show for
an even lower price, UCM Theatre and Dance provides a Pay-What- You-Can option (minimum
$1) for every Sunday matinee for each show. These tickets may be purchased at the
box office or online. Online tickets include a service/handling fee. For the hearing
impaired, ASL Interpreters are also present at one performance of every production.
Additionally, anyone who wants to support UCM Theatre and Dance through a donation
is encouraged to become a UCM Theatre and Dance Foundation member. Foundation member
benefits can include a tax-deduction, season tickets, preferred seating, special events,
