UCM Ovation Performance Series Presents All-Beethoven Recital
The 欧美视频 Ovation Performance Series presents violinist Catherine French and pianist Nina Ferrigno in a free, public recital at 7 p.m. Monday, March 9 in Hart Recital Hall, Utt Music Building The program, 鈥淏eethoven at 250: Sonatas for Violin and Piano鈥� commemorates the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Children's Literature Festival Brings Acclaimed Authors and Children Together
Bringing children and the authors and illustrators of their favorite books together, the 欧美视频鈥檚 annual Children鈥檚 Literature Festival is March 15-17 on campus. The event, which is in its 52nd year, features 28 nationally-acclaimed authors and illustrators, 17 of whom will be new to the festival in 2020.

UCM Warrensburg, Lee's Summit Participate in Statewide Tornado Drill March 3
The 欧美视频 in Warrensburg will participate in a statewide tornado drill at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3. This drill is expected to last about 15 minutes, and is designed to orient faculty, staff and students in appropriate measures to take during a real tornadic event.

Fulbright Visiting Scholars to Visit Missouri Innovation Campus to Learn How Students Connect with Future Employers
A group of approximately 90 Fulbright Visiting Scholars from around the world will tour the Missouri Innovation Campus on March 5 as part of a four-day enrichment seminar called 鈥淭he Future of Work: Overcoming the Skills Gap.鈥� The Fulbright Enrichment Seminar is facilitated by Global Ties KC.

An evening of comedy awaits those attending the 欧美视频 Theatre and Dance presentation of William Shakespeare鈥檚 鈥淭he Merry Wives of Windsor鈥� March 6-8. With the university renovating the James L. Highlander Theatre, this play will be performed at Warrensburg High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8.

Author, Radio Host Jerald Payne to Lead Mental Health Discussion at UCM for Black History Month
In recognition of Black History Month, the 欧美视频 Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity will host speaker Jerald Payne, an author, therapist, social worker, and co-host on the radio show Finally Free with Delores Jones, for a presentation titled "Mental Health in the Black Community" on Monday, Feb. 24 in the Elliott Student Union ballroom. All students, faculty, staff and the general public are welcome to attend.
