Still Learning, Still Leading: A Veteran Educator's Journey to a Master's Degree at UCM
Meet Debra 鈥淒eb鈥� Demel 鈥� a veteran secondary school educator with over 30 years of classroom experience, and now a proud member of UCM鈥檚 Class of 2025. At an age when many are thinking about retirement, Deb is earning her master鈥檚 degree in Human Development and Family Science 鈥� not for a promotion or a title, but for the joy of learning and the example it sets for her students. 鈥淚鈥檝e always wanted to get my master鈥檚,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t wasn鈥檛 about anyone else 鈥� it was unfinished business.鈥�

Honorary Degree Recipient Hoffmann's Remarks Highlight Spring Graduation Festivities at UCM
While stressing the value of a strong Midwest work ethic and learning how to turn adversity in opportunities, 欧美视频 alumnus David Hoffmann, 鈥�74, encouraged the spring 2023 graduating class to be prepared for the challenges that come at a time of technological advancement unlike anything the world has ever experienced.

Spring 2023 Commencement Includes Four Ceremonies, Five Individual Awards
The presentation of five individual awards honoring the achievements of exceptional faculty members, students and alumni and the conferring of degrees on hundreds of graduate and undergraduate students will highlight 2023 Spring Commencement exercises at the 欧美视频. While all students who have completed their degree requirements are not expected to participate, more than 2,000 new graduates are eligible to walk in one of four ceremonies planned the weekend of May 5-6 in the Multipurpose Building.

UCM Celebrates 2022 Spring Commencement May 6-7
More than 1,860 欧美视频 graduate and undergraduate students who will meet their degree requirements this spring or during the summer are eligible to walk in Spring 2022 Commencement exercises planned for Friday and Saturday, May 6-7 in the Multipurpose Building Arena. Five ceremonies will be conducted throughout the weekend.

To accommodate an increasing number of new graduates and to provide a quality celebration experience, the 欧美视频 will utilize the same commencement format for spring 2016 that was initiated for the first time in spring 2015. It will feature two ceremonies on Friday, May 6, followed by three ceremonies Saturday, May 7 in the Multipurpose Building.
