The 欧美视频 (UCM) has earned the 2025-26 Military Friendly School designation as well as recognition as a Military Spouse Friendly School.

UCM has landed in the top 10 Military Friendly Schools numerous times over the last decade. For 2025-26, UCM ranked sixth among large public universities in the U.S., making it the only Missouri university listed in the top 10. The university also ranked fourth as a Military Spouse Friendly School.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2025-26 survey, with 830 earning special awards for going above the standard.

鈥淭his recognition reinforces our dedication to providing military-affiliated students with the resources, respect and opportunities they need to succeed,鈥 said Courtney Swoboda, director of Military and Veteran Services at UCM. 鈥淲e take great pride in our mission and the incredible individuals we serve at UCM.鈥

Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution鈥檚 survey scores with the assessment of the institution鈥檚 ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.

鈥淢ilitary Friendly is committed to transparency and providing consistent data-driven standards in our designation process,鈥 said Kayla Lopez, vice president of Military Friendly. 鈥淥ur standards provide a benchmark that promotes positive outcomes and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the military community. This creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages institutions to evolve and invest in their programs consistently. Schools who achieve awards designation show true commitment in their efforts, exceeding the standard.鈥

The 2025-26 Military Friendly Schools list will be published in the May and October issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and found at .
