Megan earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Missouri. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts. She also holds a Student Services Certificate through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Megan began serving the program as an adjunct instructor in 2018 and transitioned to a full-time faculty member in 2024. She currently serves as a course instructor, clinical supervisor, internship placement coordinator, and co-advisor for the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) in the Communication Disorders Program at the 欧美视频.

In her role as internship placement coordinator, Megan collaborates with community partners to secure and maintain high-quality clinical placements and supports graduate students throughout their internship experiences. As a course instructor and clinical supervisor, she is committed to fostering clinical competence, professional growth, and evidence-based practice in student clinicians. As NSSLHA Advisor, she mentors student leaders and supports professional development and service initiatives within the program.

Professional Experience

Megan鈥檚 clinical experience spans skilled nursing facilities, public schools, early intervention programs, and private practice. Through her private practice, she partners closely with children and families to provide individualized therapy services, parent education, and community resources.

Her professional interests include early intervention, phonological processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She is passionate about mentoring future speech-language pathologists and promoting family-centered practice.
